It’s important to note that several of these views are ONLY possible from the cab of the Fire Tower. While the summit offers good views, there are many sights especially to the North and West that are not visible from the summit. It is also important to note that the tower offers a full panoramic view which is not possible from any one part of the magnificent St. Regis summit.

Looking South. In the center right of this photo is Lake Clear with Upper St. Regis Lake to the left. On the horizon are the High Peaks with Whiteface Mountain visible to the left.
